There are reports that Google Phone Nexus One has connectivity problems. Some people have seen the network connectivity to be switching from #G to Edge frequently.

The source of the issue is not yet known – the problem also could be with the carrier or the hardware partner. As mentioned in my earlier post Support Failure, the customers are not sure how to get a response from Google – so, they are contacting the carrier or HTC.

Stay tuned for more updates:)

Google launched the much hyped Android Phone – Nexus One. Google faces the challenge of managing the dramatic shift in the approach to customer service. Till today, all support is web based. Now, more and more customers will want to pick up a phone and talk to the customer care center. How does Google handle this?

Already, the Nexus One Support forums are flooded with problems & questions about purchase, delivery, & usage of the phone. Not sure if the Nexus One team is geared up for these many messages. Interestingly, there is no toll-free number available on the website. There are reports that people are calling HTC (Hardware Technology Partner) and the carriers.

Let us hope that Google will be able to come out with flying colors!
